“Can we move in with you?”
You all narrowly avoided us asking you that question. Our lease is up on June 30th and, at this point, the house isn’t expected to be done until mid-July. That’s a tad problematic! Especially because when I asked our landlord if we could stay an extra month, she made us sweat it out for 4 days while she “thought about it”.Anyhoo, crisis averted. I badgered the landlord until she agreed another month is doable. Too bad…I was kind of looking forward to raiding Donna’s refrigerator (always stocked with tasty refreshments!) and recording my favorite shows on her TiVo.
