Waiting on the carpet guy
It's the 13th. A friday. I've just returned from a week in Denver and I'm a bit sleepy.The carpet guy is due soon. Hopefully he'll get in here in time for me to make my noon meeting in Redmond. We are putting carpeting in the basement to try and cosy-up the bare concrete floors. We never did get around to applying any kind of basement sealing, so we are definately taking a risk by dropping down carpet. Hopefully the fact that we've never flooded the basement and the vapor-proof paddign will keep things dry--otherwise we've wasted several hundred bucks.
The carpet guy is due between 10 and 11--it's now 10:48am. Any bets? Good thing someone left a wireless connection unsecure in my neighborhood so I can post this while I wait....
